OK, AZ folks - made my draw applications today, for a whole bunch of critters I' ve never hunted before. I know odds are generally low for a no-points dude like me but - IF- I get drawn for anything, I' m gonna be looking for new hunting partners in a hurry! Come to think of it, I' m always looking for new partners :-) Wish me luck!

Muskrat....I' m coming to AZ here in a few weeks to be stationed at Yuma. Do you have to put in for the draw to hunt everything?? I' m not a real big gun-hunter, but I' d like to get out and do some bowhunting(for whitetail). Do I have to put in the draw for a tag??

If I' m not mistaken, most if not all, archery tags for deer are over the counter. Rules are at www.gf.state.az.us

Joel - I put in for early bull 4B, late bull 22, late cow 22 - all archery. I put in for antelope 4A and 4B, sheep (yeah, right) 22 and 23; and deer 37B, and 22. Keeping everything close to home. I know odds are slim, generally, but it' s exciting anyway.

I may put in for the same antelope hunts, I' ll let you know if I get a tag so maybe we could hook up. Do you put in for pig hunts close to home in the spring?
