RE: what type of vehicle do you suggest?

I have aRubicon (35" tires, lockers and a 3" suspension lift ); with unpredictable weather in the Colorado Rockies during hunting season I have learned that not any 4x4 will work. We've found thatthe mud and deep ruts that result fromheavy hunting traffic is more of an issue than snow; that's where high clearanceandworse comes to worse a winch is handy!

Diesel isn't cheap, but our '05 duramax gets 20 MPG highway, and can haul (or tow ) a real load. Definatly not a commuter (Older saturn for that) The BFG Km/2 mud terrains are a plus too! Fuel economy plunges with the newer diesels due to emission add ons in the last couple years.
