Pup, the toughest bird you will hunt to get your slam will be the eastern - they are not as plentiful as the rio grande and merriams and they are on the west side of the mountains. There are a lot of birds, but it is hard to get access to a lot of the big flock areas (see the new washington turkey hunter post) - you will need to do a lot of homework to get the eastern. The other two won't be as hard - not only are they a little easier to hunt, but there is plenty of access to them. Looks like you have the merriam taken care of. There is a lot of rio's along the Tucannon river at the base of the blues (just outside Dayton) and a lot of access to them - but the hunting pressure might be high (but you are probably use to that chasing the merriams where you do). Good luck.

All 3 species can be found on public land. You've got your Merriam's spots, and aren't too far down the road from a Rio. There are Easterns to be had on public land too, but as WANWTF stated, you'd better do your homework. That is why I'm gonna start off the season chasin' the Easterns. If I tag one before I head east, I may line up a Rio hunt while I'm over there should I have the opportunity to complete the slam. If you are serious about a Washington Slam, I'd hang the bow up for the first one. Not that it can't be done obviously, but why limit yourself that much on the first go-round. I'd want to concentrate on locating my birds, not having to get within 15-20 yards to get a shot. Get a Slam with a bow the second time around, after you've got good spots located. Just an opinion from a diehard bowhunter. My bow will stay in the case until I get the first Merriam's tagged.

Hunt hard, live right, and tell your kids you love 'em!
