Colorado Unit 25 Elk Hunt
Ok, here's the deal...First timer going Archer Elk Hunting DIY style. We got a group of 4 of us with 3 pref points and am confident to pull a tag for unit 25. Any ideas on where to hunt that unit? Any other advice for a newbie? 2 of the guys have gone to Idaho a couple yrs ago...missed the 1 bull they saw. For now, I'm not concerned with a huge bull...a sentinal, subordinate is fine with me for my first time. I'd be thrilled to actually get a shot off!
