Hey all, the Doctors told me I don't have cancer, and it is definately a virus. Almost all of my blood work shows that my blood is normal except for slight liver inflamation. I am recovering but is going slow. In celebration of this news the wife and tots took me over to Waterville for Labor Day weekend. Had a great time, saw a few does, some quail, and quite a few grouse, but was just to tired to go after the grouse. But it was nice to be out looking around, and really enjoyed watching the animals, especially the one bird of prey-couldn't tell what it was because of distance-hunt. Should be able to do late Westside deer without too much problem, but will see.

Wow Nate, that is good news. Any idea what virus it is? At least it will eventually run it's course. Just take care of yourself until your healthy. No need to drag it out any more than necessary.

Robb, glad to hear somebody is getting to use their tag. I'm hoping I see something over the weekend. Otherwise, I'll be holding on to the tag until the late hunt. It's hard to learn to hunt something you can't seem to find. Sooner or later I've got to at least see one. It is a good excuse to keep going though. You can't kill 'em if you ain't there. Awesome news Nate! Where were you drivin' rackstalker? Couple months ago, I actually saw a hen walking along Marine View Drive in down town Everett... Blew me away. Especially since the nearest release site that I know of was in Snohimish (someplace <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>).

Well, I told ya'all I got hosted, well I have the website pretty well up there and ready to go. One of the great features I put out there is a Calendar - if you register, you can post your meetings, fundraisers, hunting trips whatever. I kind of was thinking about what robb had said about getting a &quot;board group hunt&quot; - and thought that this kind of thing would be ideal for that. So check it out and tell me what you think, and what you think should be there/should not be there. - I haven't submitted it to the search engines yet (or advertised it at all yet) so I'd like some real constructive critisism if ya'all wouldn't mind.

just writing in to say hello my lab is now a full fledged bird dog she went out with us for grouse she pointed,fulshed and retreived so she got to eat her first bird but she was great found a nice hold of deer so im going back out for them

ALRIGHT NATE....GUESS PRAYER'S ARE ANSWERED... :).............Back from the Elk trip.....Had a great time...but still eating beef....lol. 2nd morning out saw about 50 leagal bull's before I ever saw a cow...............Good luck with the test's Robb
