Well morning all. Robb hope your feeling better it's pretty bad when you're so sick you didn't watch probably the best game of the year. Just about the only game I did watch to busy chasing ducks and geese. Never hunted turkeys but got some in the canyon around my place every once in a while they'll even come up by the house usally it just hens but it get the kids all fired up. I guess a birds a bird to them you shoot it dad and well fetch it up for you. That's one reason I haven't gotten into hunting them yet they just can't understand me getting dressed up in camo and getting the shotgun out and they can go. One of my buds comes up every now and then to hunt them and it drives them nuts that they can't go with him. Another month or so I should start hearing them talking when I take the kids for their walk before I go to work. It's cool just to listen to them Ive had a couple that roosted on place last year a couple of times they scared the crap out of me the first time they flew down from the roost and I didn't know they were there. Only saw them a couple of time maybe they'll come back this year.

HAVE A SAFE TRIP TOMORROW, THE WEATHER HERE IS STILL KINDA BAD WE'VE HAD GAIL FORCE WINDS, THE GUST WERE UP OVER 70 MPH, AND THE RAIN WAS COMING DOWN IN SHEETS, THEY HAVE FLOOD WARNINGS OUT OVER A LOT OF THE COUNTRY, THE PONDS NEAR MY HOUSE ARE REALLY REALLY FULL, THE DUCKS LOVE IT. HAD 10 PHEASANTS HUDDLED UP UNDER THE ONE PINE TREE IN THE BACKYARD, WOULD HAVE BEEN EASY PICKING FOR ME, BUT NO ROOM IN THE FREEZER FOR THEM.

Dang Robb....pack up some of them Pheasent's and ship em over to me... ....I could use em for my trainning sessions with the pup....lol.....Wayne

I'LL ADMIT WHEN I WAS BACK HOME RIGHT AFTER CHRISTMAS, I WAS DISAPPOINTED, DIDN'T SEE ANY PHEASANTS JUST HUNS. DOES THE GAME DEPARTMENT, STILL HAVE THE PHEASANT PROGRAM, WHERE THEY GIVE YOU A CERTAIN NUMBER OF PHEASANT CHICKS AND YOU RAISE THEM UP AND THEN RELEASE THEM? WE DID THAT IN HIGH SCHOOL. THE GAME DEPARTMENT NEEDS TO DO SOMETING ABOUT THE PHEASANT POPULATION IT SEEMS TO BE DECREASING EVERY YEAR.
