Default East fork of the Salmon

I'nm gong to be hunting with some friends for archery Elk in the area of the east fork of the salmon. Was looking for any info on that area. Any help would be great....

I assume you are talking about the area near Yellowpine. It is very steep country. There are a lot of elk in the unit, but you'll have to work to find and hunt them. Get as far from the roads as possible. Wolves have become a real issue and they tend to scatter the elk where they would normally be holed up in larger herds during the rut.
