This just off two local AR newsletters in the Seattle area.
Voted myself to let Ron Simms know that we sure dont need him getting into the animal rights game.
Please cast your vote and lets turn this around and remember to leave some comment. (anyone can vote, so help us out)
Feel free to pass this link along to any other sites you may frequent. Vote now this is only a week long poll.

Ron Sims, King County executive, is conducting a poll on-line regarding
views on animal rights.
Please log-on to and vote! Also - please post your comments!
Should more, less or about the same amount be done to ensure the humane
treatment of animals in our country?

Man, this just shows you how whacked Seattle really is. We are definitely in the minority on this one. I don't think many hunters are opposed to treating animals humanely. But I've got a serious problem when you start trying to humanize animals and give them human rights. They are animals, and God gave us the responsibility of ruling over them. If other countries want to put them in their constitution, that's their business. Just don't do it here. And politicians have no business promoting this agenda from their office.

I am all for animal rights within reason. I mean if you are intentionaly starving or torcuring an animal you need consiquences. But, we shouldn't be spending thousands of tax dollars on the subject. Further more when stiffer punishments are handed out for beating your dog than beating your spouse there is a serious problem!
