Need help sighting in
 

I just had shoulder surgery and can't shoot my rifle yet. I need to sight in my 300wsm and 06. Can anyone help? I have Tues, Wed, Thurs off. Thanks.

You better wait to be able to sight it in yourself, because what works for me, my eyes, heights and constructionmay not be good for you. I know it does not make sence, but I have seen in the past people sighting in for others, and those others cursing them later on for doing a poor job, even though they had it in 1" at 100yrds.

Go get yourself one of those nice bench rests, you've seen them on tv where the guy puts an egg between his shoulder and rifle.
I use a economy bench rest for all my rifles and it takes away some of the recoil.

use the LEAD SLED and load it heavy.

Lead sled works great.. You can always try a laser bore sighter too- never tried one but heard they are pretty good.

Honestly -seems like a lot of ppl have helped(and who gave good advice)who are more generious& understanding then yourself.( why bother posting on this one magman?( just to take a dig at him?)

( guess its not only the poltices forum that brings out the worse in ppl?)

( the guys still healing from surgery& sore-so hes a littleapprehensive& time is getting short)

Thank you Knightia! I tried to ignore thE comments made by M.M. but can't much longer. I know one person that I wouldn't let behind me with a gun! M.M., I'm sure there are plenty of disabled hunters out there that are great to hunt with. You have insulted a great number of people with your comments. Unedcuated spewing of words can be a true sign of what a person is about. So with that, STFU!!!!

I constanly see obsene and unnessary posts from "MagnumMan". Isn't there anything that can be done because of this. I hate it when someone make point to call someones disadvatage. Its juvenile if you ask me. I just dont understand how BA you thinkare to make a comment like that. It seems MM is always sturing up some kind of drama. Whats with all of that?

I madea statement that should have been offensive to nobody, I'm not making fun of handicapped or less abled folks, but I am making fun of lazy sportsman, camel, do you honesly think getting on a forum and asking complete strangers for help is really going to do any good? and on top of that, trying to sound macho by listing two calibers that might have to much recoil for some people isn't helping either. And camel I think that little stfu comment is uneccesary, I don't know how old you are but making a comment like that makes you sound about 17 years old.

How do you know that we are complete strangers? I mean, there are at least 15 of Denver residents that come to this forum and chat all the time. People help people, especially rare breed that hunters are, we are willing to help strangers, let alone somebody from the same town. This is not East Cost bubble man, we are still humans arround here.

Actually me and younggun243 got along quite well, he never called me out, and whatever he said I can assure you he was kidding. And camel, yes Of course I'm lonely my wife died 3 years ago from throat cancer, haven't had a job in 2 years and am living off relatives, camel the thing about me is, if i don't like you I'm going to let you know. So if you can't handle it like a civilized human being then maybe you oughta look in the mirror beofre berating another person.

If someone says something that youthink is"calling out", then you need to get back to your social studies and learn how people talk(talk means that they communicate by means of vocal or, in the virtual world, visually address each other. youngguns you need to back off if you can stand behind what was said you are no better than he is. Some one ask a simple ? and ask for help and this guy trys to slaps him down this forum DON'T need that. Bottom line is this, I to have 7neck and backoperations and ask people for help doing things and I am d@m proud I did not run into this guy. I have talk to you before in PM and I will tell you strate up whenyou drop to the level of calling people morns you have run out of anything good to say, I fell sorry for you and will pray for you, take care. Ok I have nothing to do with this, but you people treat God like a creature to be feared "Oh I'm gonna pray for you" like it is something to be feared. To tell you the truth, most people I have met on this forum are in the know of God and Jesus. So pray for him if you want. But he prolly does his own.
