Nevada Unit 192
#1
Looking into hunting on a friends property who just moved to Nevada. Being from California, I am unsure of the process of tag applications in Nevada. I checked their fish and wildlife websiteand found some tag quotas from previous years that I must have read wrong.
It says they only pull like 4 out of state muley tags for unit 192? Is this true??
If so, how much do I pay to get into the draw? Surely not full tag price, unless I am drawn, right?
Thanks for any help.

it is my understanding that if you are not drawn for the tag you are out the processing fee, but if you want a pref point you have to pay for the out of state license, that is where it costly!! I havelooked oto the same thing, it sounds like the same kind of situation, the area I want to hunt only offers 4 out of state tags out of 35 tags total! good luck

Most of the Reno/Tahoe areas are trophy areas, they are in the rut if you look at the dates. IF you draw you should get a whopper. If you apply online they charge you for the tag and app. fees, then if you draw they charge your credit card. You can get a refund of the hunting liscense, but then you dont get your bonus point.
