Default Stoeger 2000 ???

Hi guys. Im looking for your opinions on the new stoeger 2000 in 12 ga. I am looking to buy a new goose gun that will spend alot more time in the gun safe than in the blind. But I don't want problems with whatever I buy. Sales guy says the stoeger is a Benelli on the inside. But what about reliability? If its that much of a knockoff then why is the benelli $700.00 more?? Would you buy the stoeger or maybe a winchester super x2? thanks alot for the help. dcl

Default RE: Stoeger 2000 ???

I have never actually shot one but when I bought my Remington 11-87 I really checked into them and the only info I have found on them is that they are good guns. I never got any bad reviews on them. I think they would be a great gun especially for the money. I do love my 11-87 though. I would recommend the 11-87 to anyone looking for a semiauto. Mine is the super magnum.
