Default snow goose hunting

I live in saskatchewan, canada. I was going to go out for the spring snow goose hunt, but I have no decoys and I don't ahve enough money to buy any.

what should i do? is there any way I could hunt without them? My friend is selling some of those 2-d decoy things and some old wood ones.

would they work for snow geese?
thanks

You can pass shoot if you can find a place to hide near where they are flying.Your friends dekes could work. There are alot of other variables like wind and weather that affect that.I'd suggest you find someone else to throw in with to get started.Texas rags are a very cheap way to start a spread.I'm gonna pm you a link to help you get more onfo.

Not yet Adam, our season doesn`t start until April 3rd. Bin seeing lots of Canadas but no snows. Not too worried though with a 6 week season on the snows(May 31st).
