I have a small harbor disconnected for lake manitoba and i was wondering. there is lots of water but some mallards. how do I attract them? Do i feed them in the summer? and how do i attract them in hunting season?

I dont know much about food plots where there is already water, but what about a mechanical feeder with corn for throughout the summer....just an idea.
