When I went to Tennessee this last week the majority of the geese were from the MI state line down throughout ohio with a large concentration of birds about 75 miles into ohio. so if that is the trend they should be pretty thick throughout the north half of Illinois.

We have a few in GA, not as many as up north. Hey buy why not fish until the birds come in. On the finaly day of 2004. My dad and I killed three birds, one was even banded. Now I know it is nothing like up north, but we also caught our limit of crappie(White Pearch for the Yankees) and brem it was a blast. However, after watching the DVDs of the hunts up north I wish I could go up one time for a sky full of birds.
