Two things......watching the sunrise on the lake and the smell of fresh gunpowder in the morning air.

After I set up the decoys, and its still dark outside, I love to sit back with mr. copenhagen and listen to the owls hoot.

The sites watching the sunrise, the ducks lock up sailing into the decoys, and the dog working. Falling thru or slipping on the ice is at the bottom of my list.

I like putting out decoys in the crisp morning air and sitting in the blind with my dad talking about the things we do wrong and listing to the hen mallards around the boat docks cutting up. this year has been more of a experience than killing in a 4 month period we have shot only [color=#FF3300]11 ducks[/color] but no matter if you kill anything its the fact of being out there with nature and listing to other people shoot at ducks LOL and i honestly believe i could sit out in a duck blind from daylight to dark 6 days a week away from the fast pased life at home and would care if i every had a bird work of ever fire a shot.

nuthin beats the sight and sound of a BIG flock of birds cupped and cuttin a high wind with their wings SSSWWWWOOOOOOOOSSHHHHHhhhhhhhhhh!! and seein the smiles and eyes light up when a person shoots their first bird (or diff species of bird they been after for awhile)
