well i like the weighted if huntin bigwater or high winds ... no doubt ... but if im packin in to a secluded pothole, beaver pond, slough, etc that is sheltered ill go with the water for the simple fact of being lighter ..... and carp ... im a 12 man all the way and that brings up sumthin very funny that happened this season .... i shot a greenhead one mornin ... buddies that were with me all started laughin ... well what i didnt know is ... i shot his head off .... they said it landed bout 5 yrds from em lol .... took the head off right at the base of its neck .... ill see if the pix turn out of the birds layin in the line and will show ya

first of all carp ... if ya weightin ya line , usin fairly short anchor lines to the mother (12-18") and keepin it tight ya wont have many tangles ......single reed if i need the volume .... but like the double for general huntin ...... blue just cause i dont ever kill any in full plumage here ..... store bought ..... and wigeon cuzz i kill so many damn woodies .... lol
waterfowl on the grill ..... or oven ?
