Has anyone used just the silos with out any other type of deks in your spread?

CALL EM IN CLOSE AND SHOOT THEM IN THE EYES

A guy on another forum i visit http://www.duckhunter.net uses 6 dz Outlaw canada silos and he seems to do pretty good...All i have right now is 1 dz silos and its a pain to get them to stand up in frozen groudn!!!

I use them with some full bodies and I dont like the results. I also use a cordless drill and a 3/4 bit to drill a hole for them.

I left some of the stake stick out of the top of my silos so I could drive them in with a hammer!! I also have a piece of round bar that I use sometimes to drive a hole in the ground first before try to stick them into the froozen ground.

I like the drill Idea...wish I had though of that last week!!!

I also mix and match my decoys...I hardly ever just use one style of dek

Yeah ive been out and done that. I have the same resuots as i would have had with a couple dozen big foots.

Silo's are good fillers IMO. That's all I use them as.
