Hit the STA-5 for a late day duck hunt. The birds are in hot and heavy down for their vacation. Had a blast. Just gotta love the stuff.

You know it's great hunting them in, what I've just learned this year as, "blue bird" weather. But, you do sweat your a$$ off a little if you have to pole or paddle out to your spot. Don't get me wrong, when the cold fronts move in, all we have is cold wind that freezes your bu#T off. For you fellas up north it wouldn't even phase you, but keep in mind, I havn't even owned a jacket or coat in 15 yrs. Couldn't justify the money for a few weeks during the hunting season.

Until now, little over a week and plan on going to Indiana for a deer,duck. geese. Bass Pro Shopps will be hit, and will be hit hard over Thanksgiving week.

Had a big gator pop up just 4 ft from us. That really get s the blood flowing. Florida duck hunting, just got to love it.

What part of indiana will you be hunting???? I will be down there too for geese and ducks here in a little over a week.

Plan on going to Whasington, Indiana. Land in Evansville, think it's about 50+/- miles away. Have a brother who lives up there. Says he has the spots all ready. Be there 2 DEC to 9 DEC.

lol@carp ..... come on over here man .... late season is the best time of the year for comp. ..... will have people from EVERYWHERE ..... gets to be a madhouse and sum people just set up way too close ... have had guys boat in right before daylight and set up not 100 - 150 yrds from us after we have been there for a couple hours waitin for shootin time .... love callin birds from those type of people and love the look on their face as ya sittin there with ya limits 'n at em .... lmao
