Default Anyone hunt North Dakota last weekend?

It was North Dakotas Non-Resident opener last weekend. Did anyone go and have any luck? I'm headed out there on Thursday, can't wait!

He got 163 ducks between 10 guys. And they shot some geese one day and limited out on that.

Gosh, they must have eaten the heck out of ducks. I believe that the possession limit in ND would have been 120 for 10 people. Of course 10 guys could have eaten 43 ducks right?

I haven't been out to ND for 2yrs now and miss it dearly, but I know when we go alls we do is bring stuff to cook our ducks in. We even had duck spegetti when we were out there. Duck in the morning, duck in the noon hour, duck and the evening, so I could see how they got 163.

I just got back and we ate quite a bit of duck too. One trick to lock up land to hunt on from farmers that we use is to feed them. Each year we have a fish fry/duck feed in one of the farmers sheds and he invites many of the local farmers over. Great way to meet more land owners and they all appreciate it enough to always let you hunt on their land.

For 5 of us we shot about 75 ducks and 6 geese.

I asked him. He said they did get 163 ducks. They gave 43 ducks to the owner of the land they hunted on.
