RE: A Question
The way I was told to cook them is Pluck and gut , split down the back and open , tack to a oak plank and cook infront of a open fire till done , throw the bird away and eat the plank.
I realy cooked 1 up once just to try it , greasy and a little fishy . I do not plan on eating another except if I am starving.

RE: A Question
A buddy of mine swears by these things. He has a cabin at one of out local lakes and says if the Mergies have been feeding on the wildrice that grows there, they are real good eating.
