Back from first waterfowl hunt-Saskatchewan Rocks!
Got back from my first waterfowl hunt. As soon as the pix come back will post a few. What a blast! I don't know why I waited so long to try it. I'm already planning to go back (St. Walburg & Turtleford area of SK). The hunting was fun and the folks I met were even better. Saw deer, moose, and several 'yotes that needed busting-maybe next year I'll bring a .243 or 22-250 for that.
We had a few good goose shoots and got into the ducks really good twice. When I first got up there, I thought a flock of 200-300 geese was a lot..........wrong. Last Sat, just south of Edam, I saw a flock of 2,000-3,000 snows, and even that's not too big for them from what I've been told. If you haven't been up there, go. If you live in the area, how lucky you are.

Joe , I wonered how ya made out. I've been doing some hunting here aswell and have been doing real well. If you ever want to come up this way , get on the plane , I'll pick ya up at the airport. The flocks ar'nt as big as the west , but you still get all the shooting one needs. Had a fluke yesterday and killed 6 ducks with one shot. ...BT
