do u prefer to duck hunt in flooded rice, bean, or corn fields or flooded timber?

In my area it is layout , marsh or dry feild ,I like to hunt in a marsh.

id like to hunt swamps but around here its mostly lake hunting

Anywhere there is any ducks. Here it is mostly lakes and sloughs. The only real way to hunt ducks is over decoys. I will pass shoot if there is no other way.

i like to hunt a harvested corn stubble field that all flooded out.

Hunt in a marsh. Havent tried anywhere else yet.

Tough call, I would say my favorite would be hunting a slough but those late season lake hunts when it is butt cold and the divers are busting in is tough to beat.

I prefer flooded timber. Just something about calling 'em in through the trees over some decoys and watching good dog work.
