In my area it is layout , marsh or dry feild ,I like to hunt in a marsh.

Anywhere there is any ducks. Here it is mostly lakes and sloughs. The only real way to hunt ducks is over decoys. I will pass shoot if there is no other way.

i like to hunt a harvested corn stubble field that all flooded out.

Tough call, I would say my favorite would be hunting a slough but those late season lake hunts when it is butt cold and the divers are busting in is tough to beat.

I prefer flooded timber. Just something about calling 'em in through the trees over some decoys and watching good dog work.:)

I prefer hunting lakes and marshes, but never turn down a river or cornfield hunt.

Marshes or flooded fields are my favorite but we don't get much of that down here so I look for large tanks near big water. Those ducks come off the big water looking for food and place to rest up away from all the pressure.
