I have always hunted from a generically painted canoe, it works fine in most places but we are working on a wide beamed 14' bluefin "duck boat" this summer.

I hunt from a duck boat that I built myself using plywood and fiberglass. It's 12 ft. long and 5 ft. wide. It looks very similar to the Devlin Black Brant. I built it from plans that I drew up myself. It has been a good boat for the last 7 years. It is ideal for two hunters and a dog. I have had three hunters and gear in the boat and used a trolling motor to power it in water only 6 inches deep.

i've got an aluminum 16' '65 viking semi-v jon boat. its about 5 ft. wide which is really nice. i can easily handle 3 people and a dog. personal camo job, reeds and leafs and shadows. i think it looks pretty good. homemade blind also. my dad does the whole 18' war eagle with the 4 stroke yamaha deal, but im fresh out of college so im pretty pleased with my setup.

Working on my 14ft bluefin. Ordered the marsh grass marine paint from cabelas today. I got Krylon ultra flat camo spray paint for the detail. I want to put that rubber lining on the inside but I dont have the money right now. Has anyone tried the roll on rubber liner on aluminum?

I use a 12 ft flat bottom jon boat that i camoed myself. Building a homeade blind for it right now. Mostly use the boat to get back and forth to the blind. We hunt from a floating blind built on pontoons that we just drive the boat into from the back and climb into a small closed in area with seats and an opening made for 3 shooters and 2 dogs to work out of. I'll get some pics up as soon as I head back up to the camp. I thought I was the only one without one of those fancy, pretty, professional duck hunters boats.
