ok all i want to know is where are all the ducks. Eastern washington has always had ton's of ducks but this year they are no where to be seen. i mean i have been hunting everyday for the last two weeks and only shot 14 ducks and years past i would walk home with limits everyday.

I live in the mid valley in Oregon and the ducks are few and far between. I have hunted right here for over 25 years and have seen it go to h#ll in a hurry. What happened to our hunting? I have hunted the last 4 weekends and have killed 8 ducks and 2 geese. I think that the ducks have been locals.

There are still a lot of ducks and geese on the Pend Oreille river, between Sandpoint and the Wa. border. I can't get to them though because the boat launches are few and far between, and mostly frozen over. I think they know that too.

i have a friend that went up to bellingham and i forgot the name of the bay up there. But right now they have over 500,000 ducks. He said the reason for this was because they did a bunch of land management up there and they have all the food they could possibly want so they arent moving.

Hope the freezing weather up north has moved the birds this way. So far I manage to get 1 or 2 every time I go out. I shot a huge great basin honker last weekend I will try to post a picture on this. I have been lucky enough to get permission from a farmer that put a really cool pond in for ducks many years ago. No one has been hunting this for about 5 years.
