Western maryland resident geese
Hello all,
I have just learned what resident geese are lol
They don't migrate. I was astounded.
I'm looking for anyone in garrett/allegheny county that successfully hunts resident Canadian geese and has a nice spot to hunt. Maybe we could get together on a hunt.

hi if anyone gets to this thread via search engine or something in western maryland everything is still frozen when late resident goose season is in, so youre only bet would be private corn fields. the moment the ice melts they are everywhere, but season is out so...
if you are interested in western maryland waterfowl mt nebo wma is the only huntable impoundment, perhaps you can hunt ducks on the rivers here but im not sure on that one.
