I guess this is what our world is coming too, can't say whats on your mind, by all means don't talk about the gays in this world. Seems the common person is a minority these days. Now we have a president who is telling us we have to use his insurance policies, sounds like a dictator to me. What the hell is the world coming too!!!

From a businss stadpoint, A&E chose this family and their background specifically becuase they were involved in "controversial" activities that the media loves to report on and give out there bias. I.E. Hunting, guns, religion, success and the traditional family. A&E has made their money and name on this show because they Roberston's specific stand on these "controversial" issues. Of all the issue out there (including PETA), I am surpsrised that A&E decided to take a stand on the gay rights issue.

This is a P.R. nightmare for A&E. Instead of making a rash decision, they could have easily came out with a statement that all other networks usually lead with:
"views expressed on this show do not neccessarily represent those of the network...". Then sit back, let the media firestorm begin and watch the ratings and merchandising effort triple. If I was an executive at A&E, I would be updating my resume!

The modern watchword is if you become famous, someone will lay in wait to attack you.

Fairly unknown, I have a person who can't stand my guts because I wouldn't join their organization. And just because the organization was a failure in its goals, doesn't make a difference to this person. I had no reason, according to it, not to join that organization. I wouldn't waste my time, so it's my fault.

This whole thing is ridiculous...Phil Robertson speaks his mind and gays get upset by hearing the truth...

Phil did nothing wrong but speak the truth..and like an alcoholic being called out on his drinking issue the Gay community doesn't like being called out.. it kills me that America is full of mostly like minded people with beliefs as Phil. Yet the Gay and Lesbian community cries loud enough over everything including their right to marriage to make WE THE PEOPLE accept THEIR way of life so They feel less guilty about Their sin..Even the schools now are trying to push the Gay lifestyle as being acceptable, and the norm. It's quite sickening IMO..what other country in the world other than maybe Canada puts any kind of care into Their way of life, and or feels the need to push that way of life onto school children? How parents are not up in arms over the Gay agenda and their own kids education is beyond me.Phils statement shouldn't effect A&E in any way, if anything should help wake up Americans as to what is going on!!
