I have recently took an interest in duck hunting and have been a few times here in western Va, but it seems that there are not many ducks in my area. Where are some good places to hunt public waters that are in Va or the bordering states?

Go to www.ducks.org and see who is else is out hunting and what they are seeing in your area. I also noticed that to the south of you they are slamming them pretty good (NC) I don't know where in VA you are but TN is also not seeing many birds. I'm in western TN went out the other day and saw one group of high flyers in a 2 hour period.
