I have been a hunter all my life of deer, turkey, dove, hogs and almost anything else you can find in the south. However I have never duck hunted and would like to get into it. I live in east texas and my parents have land outside baton rouge LA. I already have a shotgun that ive hunted dove with for many of years. Basically the info im looking for is what kind of ducks can i expect to find in my area, type of decoys. Im also thinking of getting a Chocolate Lab and train it for retrivial. Any tips would be great thanks
