Pix from sea duck hunt off Rhode Island & Mass.
Here's a few pix from a sea duck shoot from last weekend off RI & MA. The action was slow at first, but it picked up Mon & Tues. The banded eider was my first sea duck. He was banded on 23 Aug 2006 off Lockeport, N.S. Can. Three black scoter were dropped with two shots as a flight of four burned in over the water and flared right over the decoys.
The real star of the show was Kinky, the retriever. He belongs to Jeremiah Brooks of Ocean State Outfitters.
