Ha ha I love it when I make shots like that. I shot a grouse's head completley off the other day and he ran around with no head for about 30 seconds. It was pretty cool.

but just in case you dont actually know that drake mallards have green heads, ..... they do, why do you think the call em "greenheads"? google images "drake mallard" or go to DU limited duck ID.

Hey, Ill be the 1st to say Im no expert, so please explain to me how it possible a mallrd drake can have a brown head and body, and no white ring on the neck. All the mallard drakes Ive shot, have grey and black backs, and burgundy chests.
