We finally found the geese. Real hard to pattern this year due to all the water in the fields. Our limits went up to 8 daily and 24 possession this year. Took us two hours to get our three limits.
An answer to another question on the forum, all these geese were shot with Winchester Experts #3, 3"mag

Our spread consisted of six decoys which is normal for us. Hey, it works. As for the cranes, we haven`t seen too many but they are still around as it is still quite warm here.

Thats a good day! Heck thats a good season for us here in Southwestern Minnesota. Four of us shot 4 geese on our regular waterfowl opener last weekend. Thats the most geese we've shot on the opener. Usually we do fairly well on ducks, but we only got 5 this year. It was a pretty slow opener. Hopefully when you guys are done with the birds up there you'll send some down our way. Thanks in advance!
