I have 2 case of Federal 3" BBB magnum Classic Steel
25 to a box what do they go for a Box.

Classic Steel, isn't that the stuff in a blue and gold box with a velocity of 1265 fps? I don't know why Federal ever made those shells when the push by the manufacturers at that time was to get more velocity. 1265 fps was a reduction in velocity from their standard shells.

If that is what you have, I'm sad to say that it's not worth very much

Maybe ten bucks a box tops. For just a few dollars more, you can get a box of shells that go significantly faster.

I am buying them for about 7 bucks a box. These are 2-3/4 inch though. 10 bucks a box is about tops.

They aren't perceived as being worth much, but I have killed quite a few geese with them. The slower shells pattern better sometimes, and the larger pellets hold their speed better, making them more effective than you might expect.
