Default no mags!!!!!

i have 6 dozen i will sell you really cheap! they are in great condition! i hate them i think they flare birds! they get the birds in from far off but as soon as they get to 50 yards they flare! a flag works just as well as attracting far off birds! dont get super mags! go lifesize shells and fullbodies or even siolos!

I use 11 old Herter Mallard Super Mag water decoys. They are goose bodies with Mallard heads and I think they work fine. With 18 regular G & H Goose and the 11 super mallards I use this spread all season.

We actually add 3 magnums to our spread and it really helps bring the birds down especially when the snow is on the ground

X2 On the snow or ice, they are deadly.

Super magnums are sold to attract hunters . that they may or maynot attract waterfowl is just a bonus.

IMO they work
I run a mix of Regular and super mag decoys

And IMO the big decoys hook the birds and when they are in closer
The number of decoys reel them in

I laughed last season when a hen mallard was swimming around in between the supermag decoys
It looked like a teal mixed in with mallards

It means exactly what it states.

I've hunted big water to mud puddles for waterfowl in 9 states in almost 43 years of waterfowlingwith 90% of that oe public waters. Make an investment in quality decoys once and own them for a lifetime. If you do you'll find one doesn't need the lastest wizbang offerings from 3 1/2" shells to mojo's and super mags.
