i am fairly new to waterfowling and i just got into goose hunting and i was worked out a deal to work off a custom call given to me by some friends im getting good with it but it keeps sticking when i go to blow again and my first note sounds like crap after freeing it what am i doing wrong

wax the reed, chapstick works fine.

Also, try to keep it inside your coat if you have alot of sticking problems

id try waxing the reed first and if that dont work try replacing the reed
