Default Just saying hi!

Just found the site and need a waterfowl/USA fix. Been hunting for 12 years and missed 1 whole year (except for about 2 weeks of early goose and a day while on leave) when the army decided I needed a break from hunting to see what the desert looks like. Will be returning from Iraq in a few months just in time for this season.

I live and hunt in Pa. About 99% of my hunting is waterfowl, and I can't get enough of it. I haven't pulled the trigger since a Dec hunt when I was home on leave. I'm on a few other forums, but need more of a "fix" to get me through the last few months that have been dragging on!

Mark

Starts Sept 1st and depending on where you hunt it's anywhere from 1, 3, or 8 a day.

Just finished a blind for my shorthair and myself to hunt out of in a local swamp. Last year I was standing in waist high water in Dec waiting for the birds to fly in. This year I will be warmer and be able to take the dog with too. As a prior service marine I want to say what you guys are doing and going through over there in that armpit of the world is appreciated. Give em hell before leaving to come back home.

Hey man,
I feel your pain! I really do! I cant wait for that early season to start! Neither can anyone else in our crew! We live in central Pa, and if your interested in some hardcore goose hunting then reply back to this message and we can set it up! Our crew has great respect for anyone in the armed forces, and one of our guys has done tours in iraq so you'll have plenty to talk about! We are a fairly Young crew ages rangeing from 24 to 32 and we got plenty of hot goose hunting action to go around! So if your interested in huntin it up with some good ole local boys let us know! until then keep your head down and kill as many of those hoddgies as ya can! Later boy

fowlplayaz, sounds good. Always looking to meet new guys that love the sport as much as I do. I'll be home sometime in Sept, and will not be going back to work till at least the 1st of the year, so all fall/winter I'm doing nothing but hunting and fishing. I'll get in touch with ya once I get home and we'll def kill some birds!

So if you wanna hunt up this way I guess you'll just have to camp out overnight at one of our places! Unless your wierd, then probably not! lol alright man take it easy!
