Here is a video a buddy of mine took on one of the last days of the season. Everything froze shortly after this video was taken. The video was taken about 2:00 in the afternoon. We had been installed since 6:00 am. We knew there were a ton of birds roosting in a nearby river, but it was cold that day and they didn't want to get off the water out of fear the water would freeze. Finally at 2:00 their stomachs said it was time. There are about 5,000 birds circling us. There were 4 of us hunting. When we called the shot, we ended up taking 15 birds with 12 shells. The dogs had a good workout which was a welcome change from sleeping in the blinds all day... I can't wait until next year...
