Well I don't know what to say. I always followed duck hunting but never took hunted. Well I got back from Iraq in Sept and said i would do evrything I've always wanted to do. Living life to the fullest. We headed out around 4:30 am to Fremont County, CO. I didn't know what to expect. My buddies said they will be there just shoot straight. We set up and waited til first light. Just like clock work the sun began to peak and the ducks started to come in cupping into our decoy's. Bang Bang Bang three down. 1 hr into the hunt we had 10 down. 4 Redheads, 2 Greenheads, 1 Buffflehead, 2 Hens, 1 Male Wood duck. I am hooked. I am hooked lets say it again I am hooked. It was such a blast. I'll be headed out again tomorrow morn.

First.....glad you made it back from the Big Sandbox. Secondly, I hope you gots lots of money cause you`re sure gonna need it if you are as hooked as you say you are. Congrats on your first duck. I`m sure there are many more to come.

Deer hunting is everything to people around here. I used to be a huge deer hunter. People ask me, so hows hunting been going, next week is the rut, this and that. And I say, yeap, the birds are flying.
