First Duck Hunt!
Well I don't know what to say. I always followed duck hunting but never took hunted. Well I got back from Iraq in Sept and said i would do evrything I've always wanted to do. Living life to the fullest. We headed out around 4:30 am to Fremont County, CO. I didn't know what to expect. My buddies said they will be there just shoot straight. We set up and waited til first light. Just like clock work the sun began to peak and the ducks started to come in cupping into our decoy's. Bang Bang Bang three down. 1 hr into the hunt we had 10 down. 4 Redheads, 2 Greenheads, 1 Buffflehead, 2 Hens, 1 Male Wood duck. I am hooked. I am hooked lets say it again I am hooked. It was such a blast. I'll be headed out again tomorrow morn.

First.....glad you made it back from the Big Sandbox. Secondly, I hope you gots lots of money cause you`re sure gonna need it if you are as hooked as you say you are

Duck hunting is great. When your hooked, your hooked.
Deer hunting is everything to people around here. I used to be a huge deer hunter. People ask me, so hows hunting been going, next week is the rut, this and that. And I say, yeap, the birds are flying.

Awesome man! Nothin like some duck action huh!
Get ready to work more hours, buy lots of duck gear, battle howling rain, freezing temperatures and be prepared to come back empty handed on more than one occasion.
