Default 10/25 AM Hunt [Pic]

Well, got out this AM. The number of ducks is awful around my area, the geese seem to be doing well though. Only seen two flocks of 4 and 6 birds, and two singles. The flocks were on a mission, but the singles worked well.

I have had quiet a few different ducks species land into my spread, but this year Blue Bills have won my ticket. They are my favorite to call in as of right now. Seems like the circle once or twice and just commit like a train. I love replaying the picture in my head.

Ended the morning with a single drake Blue Bill and a single hen Hooded Merganser.

Good job bud. Except for that little speck of blood on the wing, that bird looks to be in perfect condition.

Yeap, female isn't as perty as the male.

Man, isn't is sweet when you keep replaying it in your head. All day, I just see wing tips down and them birds coasting really quickly into the spread, nearlyperfect.

....

Not to mention laying down a perfect shot and seeing the water splash below, then having the hoodie flare and taking a shot, with yet another splash!
