walkin decoys
what do you think would be better, 3doz hot buys or 2 doz oversize?
i'm thinking of just puting the hot buys in one bag and sayn f*** the paint or putting the 2doz oversize in 2 12slot bags.

RE: walkin decoys
I feel a mix of sizes works well
I would use part Hot buys and oversized
I run Hot buy mallards , oversized mallards , oversized blacks , Pintails and Green wing teal
May add 1/2 doz of Gadwall and 1/2 Doz of ringneck decoys this year
For walk in hunting
I convertedall the standard sized and Oversized decoys to water Keel by cutting a small hole in each end of the keel and dumping out the sand
As I use a Deer cart to haul in my gear , I haul in 4 - 6 doz decoys , a mojo , waders and blind bag on the cart

showing my ignorance here, what is a walkin decoy? fullbody?

Vers being able to haul them in by boat , truck or ATV
I am luckey , my favorit walk in place has a nice dike to walk down
So I can use a wheeled cart
But some places I hunt
You have to carry the decoys on your back
So weight is a factor
As I walk in close to a mile , sometimes well past a mile
