Default Help Learning to call Canadians..

Well I am gettting the opportunity to go hunt geese more and more and I really need to learn how to call them in. My buddy is a pretty decent caller but not one to really teach me. I was wondering if any of you know where I can find some help

You will be hearing from Canadians I'm sure. You may want to duck.

ok three things you need to buy right now. The dvd honker talk, the cd bad grammer by scott thrienen and the cd 100% all goose by criag mcdonald. Listen to those and they will teach you ALL you need to know about calling. Dont cheap out and just get one, you will need as many as you can get since you learn stuff from each one. Also practice the basics, cluck, honk and moan, and did i forget to mention, practice practice and more practice.

I remember the last time I refered to Canada Geese as "Canadians". One man even quit the forum it made him so mad.

No problem.... Know what you SHOULD do...
Buy a call and use it outside... and listen if it sounds like a goose

Here is a link with lots of goose talk on it. Very helpful and very free.

http://www.callingducks.com/talk_goose_main.aspx

Click on the caller, or click on the vocalization. You'll hear a calling demo, and often read a write up on when and why geese make those noises.

If you want to call Canadians.. don't forget to dial 11 and the international code.
