Default My 2007 Prize (pics)

I have been working on getting a Male Hooded Merganser. Not a huge duck hunter, but I love the different species. Finally, after a few years, I haveaccomplished it.

How much do you guys pay to get your ducks mounted?

Pretty bird.
Anywhere fom $250-400 depending on who does it.

Thats a pretty one, theres a lot of those where I live in Maine, just gotta look in the right spot. I dont know about where you are but we can only shoot one a day. I got one this year but I hit it too hard because it was all mangled...guess I should start shooting worse so I can get one mounted haha.

I know that this thread is old, but i just can't get over that bird. I've been working on gettin one of these trophies too... hopefully this is my season! Awesome job

haha, Thank-you so much. I forgot about this thread. I hope to get a few of those this year. I am looking for someone to hunt that lake with me, driving there is costly and I need a buddy to split the cost. Too bad your in SC, good luck this season!!

huge flocks of em hang out on minnow ponds in arkansas..but ive also taken them hunting creeks and potholes in the woods

Man, I wish I lived on a flyway. I just get a few passerby's, even with mallards.
