skip the teal dekes. just buy some mallards. i'll leave the brand name up to you, as the quality can vary alot. so does the price. personally speaking, i buy about a dozen dekes a year and add them to my spread. i'll remove the crappiest looking 12 and put in the new ones. i've got about 10 dozen.

I concur on the teal deeks. A group of thirty teal will dump into 6 mag mallard blocks. Trust me. And it will usually happen when you aren't paying attention too.
I like G&H decoys, I think they hold up better than just about any plastic molded block. I think that GHG deeks are some of the best looking decoys (at least to my human eyes), but they still have durability issues.
Day in and day out, nothing beats Herter's decoys, espeicially the armored or burlapers... they will be handed down to your grandkids.
