I love to hunt teal in Sept. Fast moving little duck and because I'm a puss when it comes to cold weather

Thats all there is around Iowa for the first duck season. Occasionally a few mallards/woodies, but man those teal are fun to shoot (at).

I love it we have teal, woodduck and early goose all open at the same time and that really gets the blood pumping for the later seasons!

I love it. Nice wingshooting challenge. They're my favorite duck for the table too.
Teal fajitas, yummy.

It's a nice teaser for the real thing. Fast paced, fun shooting, great eating. Out of the blind by 7:30 and back to work. We tore 'em up opening day last year.

Great fun if there are around.. If not it is a skeeter buffet and don't forget about the snakes..

We have a 30 day season this year for Teal. It's weird, you can find them all over the coast and close to the swamp(where I'm from), but in North Louisiana(where I am now), I can't seem to find them.
