Umm, Beretta. After that everything else will seem less than. If you have to buy a new gun try the Benelli.

I'm trying to decide between a SBE II and a Winchester X3. I clean my guns a lot, so I'm not sure what the SBE will give me over the X3, but I've heard the recoil is less on the X3. We'll see.

Ive got 2 that I use 870 and extrema 2.

Was hunting in cold weather(below freezing)this year with 2 guys thathad Benellis. Both of them had theyre guns freeze on them making theyre guns useless until they field stripped them and held them over a heater for about 10 minutes. My personal belief is the Benellis are great guns,, but they are built to a much too tight a tolerance.

i have one and i love it... the smoothest, lightest recoiling auto ive ever shot. no problems whatsoever in the cold. no problems period. also, its a real light auto compared to others

just got a beretta extrema 2 at the beginning of the season. SUPER gun. its so nice, but just remember when picking out a gun, you pay for what you get. so dont expect a good cheap gun, its not gonna happen. spend some money, and you'll see, its totally worth everything in the end.
