RE: best waterfowling shells

I dropped a few $ on 2 boxes of hevi-shot #2 to try on some geese, and that only got me 20 shells! The restwill be Win. steel; BB for geese and #2 for ducks.

I really wanted to get the hevi stuff in BB, but my bird buster won't take 3.5" shells. I'm interested in seeing how it works on honkers.

I've used the Federal "Ultra-shock" and Faststeel successfully. For geese and later season northern malls I use BBs effectively. Earlier I like #2 and #1 s for most ducks.

Well I use kent Fasteel #2 for geese and #4 for ducks but if you have to choose one I'd go with the #2.
