Just booked my trip to Saskatchewan for October! SaskatchewanDuckHunting.com was a big help. thanks Tank! Can't wait to be in that slough and have about 5,000 mallards come in. Can anyone suggest a good method for packing out/flying home with your birds?

Good luck. I'm headed up that way in late Sept myself, western SK around St. Walburg. I'm starting to hear geese in my dreams...

Freeze'em and pack the ducks in a cooler. The tighter you pack them, the longer they'll stay frozen. For a bit of insurance, duct tape the lid closed. If you breastout the ducks, you'll have to leave a fully feathered wing attached. This goes forall game birds I think.

Make sure to labelthe ducks &cooler; see the regs for what you'll need to put o the labels. I think it's name, address, SSN and SK hunting lic. #.

Have fun and send us pix.
