Just got a Benelli 12 gu. what is the best chike for duck, can use modified and Imp cylinder but not full with steel. Never had replaceable chokes so I don't know.

You should try to pattern your gun with the chokes you have and the shells you plan on using. I use a modified with my duck loads because it give me the pattern and range I want.

Got it to day and using it tomorrow, I will do that , but now I know where to start. Thanks!

Rule of thumb with factory tubes .
IC for close to med ranges
Mod for Med to long ranges

This is not set in stone , just a starting point
If you have a chance , patteren your gun / choke / shells combo.

I like modified for ducks, mod or imp cyl for geese....really think a light mod would be perfect for geese.
