Yea, we have quite a few every year. We might be on a main flyway for some banded birds. The reason I say that is because we got 3 bands in 3 weeks. I have never shot any. Hopefully this will be my year.

In my area people shoot many more banded geese than they do ducks. I'd love to get a band or two.

I have 1 duck and 1 goose. The duck band was from a hen Hoodie last year, and the goose was also collered with a green and white Michigan collar. Out of my group of guys two others have a goose band each..

Hey Carp if you get Field & Stream check out page 50 in the November 2005 issue. It goes thru all the types of duck bands. Its pretty sweet it even tells about neck collars and special types of bands like ones for ducklings and jack miner bands.

My first duck ever had a leg band on it. After that I hadn't gotten a band. That was like 4 years ago.
